Dolores Boisfeuillet Floyd (March 26, 1887-May 18, 1966) married Neyle Colquitt and, after his death, Marmaduke Hamilton Floyd in 1930. She studied library science at Georgetown University and became a library assistant at the Savannah Public Library, retiring in 1943. Picot Boisfeuillet Floyd was born on 18 August 1931 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the son of Marmaduke Hamilton (1888-1949) and Dolores Boisfeuillet Floyd (1887-1966). He graduated from St. Mary's College in Baltimore, Maryland with a B.A. in philosophy and education. He then attended George Washington University where he received his M.A. in public administration.
